About Uposhorgo
Uposhorgo is a symptom-based health guidance and doctor search platform for people in Bangladesh. When someone falls ill, a few questions come up: what is wrong, is it serious, which doctor should I see, and where do I go? Helping people find answers to these questions, and making the next step of care easier, is our core purpose.

The problem we want to solve
When unwell, many people cannot tell which kind of specialist to see. That uncertainty brings worry, confusion and a sense of helplessness. We want to reduce it and make the path from understanding a symptom to finding suitable care simpler.
How it works
There are two simple ways to describe the problem:
- Write it: describe the problem in Bangla or English.
- Tap the body: mark the part of the body where it hurts.
How we help
- Choose the right specialist: we point you to the kind of specialist that makes sense for your symptoms.
- Spot an emergency: some symptoms can be urgent, and we warn you about those first.
- Find doctors and chambers: we show relevant doctors in your area with their specialty, chamber address and directions.
What we do not do
Uposhorgo does not diagnose conditions online. We help people become aware of their symptoms, understand the risk and decide the next step of care. Nothing here replaces the advice of a doctor.
Our directory
We organise doctor information from across the country to make finding a relevant doctor easier. We keep improving the directory and the service.
Your privacy
We keep an anonymous record of the searches made and pages viewed on this site, to see what care people look for and where, and to improve the directory. It holds no name, phone number, IP address or cookie, and one day's record cannot be used to recognise anyone the next day. Ages are kept only as an age range.
